Minnesota Special Hockey grieves the tragic loss of Sam Schuneman. Sam volunteered on ice for years with several of our teams and often volunteered at our events, selling programs and raffle tickets and helping out however he could. Sam is the brother to player Maggie and son of Tom, our board chairperson. Sam's infectious smile, wonderful personality, dedication to his family, and love of hockey will be remembered fondly by the whole Minnesota Special Hockey community.

Please join us in extending our deepest condolences to Tom, Yvonne, Maggie, Beth and Dylan, and Luke Schuneman during this time of unimaginable sadness.

Sam will be deeply missed. We encourage our players to put their Sticks Out for Sam in his memory.
