Hopefully everyone is looking forward to another fun filled hockey weekend at the Hendrickson Foundation Festival. The festival is on May 31st - June 2nd at the Blaine SuperRink. If you have never attended here are the highlights:
MN Special Hockey will also be looking for volunteers at all of our games! You do not have to be a registered volunteer to volunteer for OFF the ice/bench roles. This is very important to ensure a successful event for our players. More information on this will be coming soon.
Families of outstate teams will be reimbursed up to $150 for their travel expenses. You will be required to fill out a form and send receipts to the MN Special Hockey Treasurer. More information on this will be sent to those teams.
Please fill out this registration before April 14th to ensure a fun filled hockey weekend in May/June!

MN Special Hockey continues to accept donated hockey equipment to help new players trying MSH for the first time, or for any MSH players who need assistance with getting the appropriate gear. MSH does NOT accept helmets and will also not accept jerseys or socks, but is in specific need of goalie gear in all sizes and player gear in adult sizes. If you have usable gear that you would like to donate to MSH, please contact your team manager and/or coaches on how to donate items and they will work with MSH on the equipment donation.
MSH is excited to again offer our Annual Volunteer Scholarship for the 2023-2024 season to recognize and show our appreciation for our outstanding volunteers. Volunteers are free to apply themselves, and coaches/managers/anyone else in the organization can also nominate volunteers for a scholarship.
The deadline for submitting this application is April 15, 2024.
The application guidelines are as follows:
1. Applications are open to all Minnesota Special Hockey volunteers who are at least in their junior year of high school and have been a registered and active volunteer in the MSH association for a minimum of two full seasons.
2. Applicants must be taking courses, or plan to take courses, at an accredited institution of higher education (e.g. Junior College, Technical College, Community College, College or University).
3. Volunteers can apply for, and may be awarded, a MSH Volunteer scholarship in more than one year.
