1. MN Wild Diversified Hockey Day - Register By 2/27!

Once again this year, MN Wild Special Hockey players and families have the opportunity to participate in the Minnesota Diversified Hockey Day at a Wild game in St. Paul.  This is a terrific opportunity for us to spread the word about Special Hockey.  10 Special Hockey players will have a chance to skate out during 2nd intermission and perhaps even be on the Wild bench during warmups during the Sunday, March 10th afternoon game.  If you register and are chosen to participate, you are committing to attend the Wild game.  Please note that registration closes very soon on Tuesday, February 27th so get your registration done soon if you want a chance to participate.

Event Details:
Date: Sunday, March 10th.  Must arrive before 12:30 pm.  This is the time when everyone who wants to participate in any of the activities must arrive to get into the arena.  Late arrivals may miss out.  The game starts at 2:30 pm.
Where: Xcel Energy Center, St. Paul, MN.
What: MN Wild vs. Nashville Predators

What are the activities?

  • Players/Coaches for Scrimmage - 10 skaters + 2 coaches. Skating will happen during the 2nd intermission. We also need 2 coaches to help on the ice.

  • Bench Buddies - 4 skaters. 4 players drawn randomly from the 10 skaters.  Bench Buddies will be on the Wild bench during warmups.

Please note that registering for this event does not guarantee that you will be skating.  If more than 10 register, we will have a drawing.  Bench Buddies will be chosen from the 10 skaters.  Coaches: if you can attend and assist on the ice, please register as well.

Minnesota Special Hockey is only given a limited number of tickets into the game. The players skating will receive 2 tickets each and coaches will receive 1 ticket each.  We can't guarantee any locations of where these seats are in the rink.  It is very random but is most likely in the upper concourse.

Everyone will be contacted about their assignments no later than Friday, March 1st.  This registration will close on Tuesday, February 27th at midnight.
