The Minnesota Special Hockey Board is proud to announce that Kole DeRosier is the recipient of this 2018's Volunteer Scholarship. The applicants all contributed their time and talents to our teams and players for many years, and we were humbled by all the applications. Kole has volunteered with the Rogers team for several years, and of his time with the team, says that he strives to bring joy to the players during their time off and on the ice, and as a volunteer, he feels it is his job to make their experience as fun as possible. Coach Giancarlo Amente says, "Every now and then we have some extraordinary young adults come through our program to lend a helping hand, and Kole is one of those extraordinary individuals. Kole is well known on the ice for his hard work, patience, empathy, and leadership skills."

Kole will attend the University of St. Thomas in the fall and will pursue a degree in business.

Thank you again to all of our incredible volunteers--we couldn't do it without you!
