RELEASE - Minnesota Special Hockey is proud to announce a new partnership with the Minnesota Wild beginning in the 2017-18 season. The release is the latest in a series of announcements that demonstrate the growth, progress, and new direction of MSH. MSH will be known as Minnesota Wild Special Hockey going forward.

MSH worked with the Wild and the NHL on an agreement that will allow MSH to utilize the Wild logo and color scheme as the basis of a new MSH logo to be used on all jerseys, apparel, social media, and promotional materials.

The Wild organization has been a major supporter of disabled hockey from its annual Disabled Hockey Night, to last season’s “Hockey is for Everyone” and “Try Hockey Free Day” campaigns. The Wild logo is iconic in sports design and will allow greater reach into the disabled hockey community, as well as allow MSH’s players to represent Minnesota and the Wild everywhere they travel. By joining forces, the Wild are showing greater commitment to and support of disabled hockey. In the past, the Wild has also granted use of its name and imagery to the Minnesota Sled Hockey Association.
