Welcome Information from the Hendrickson Foundation Festival

Welcome to the National Hendrickson Foundation Festival!

We are so excited for this weekend!

We are so proud to host the festival at the Schwann Super Rink on the National Sports Center Campus. All of our games will be held in Rinks 5-8 that are located in the back of the Super Rink. There are separate entrances and parking around the back of the building. When looking at the front entrance of the building simply follow the road is along the east (to the left) side of the building. -see attached map.

Youth and Adult Sled Hockey and Warriors teams begin on Friday night, Special Hockey and remaining Warrior teams begin on Saturday.

We will be celebrating #hockeychangeslives throughout the day on Saturday.

At Noon the Celebrity game begins and is filled with top players. Neal Broten and Dave Christian from the 80 Olympic team are just a couple of players for our Celebrity Game. Guests will enjoy Chuck a Puck and Sled and Skating races as well as our feature game where the Moose and Stingers play a Special Hockey game.

Following the feature game our banquet begins. The banquet is located in the building just west (to the right) of the Super
Rink. We have music, games, food, beverages. Each person rsvp'd will have receive 1 meal and 1 beverage ticket. The skaters will also receive their gift bags will hold a second beverage ticket for the skaters. There is a cash bar available as well. Beer/wine/Cider Beer is available for $4-5. Soda will also be for sale. The event will be held from 3-9pm. Others are welcome to attend event however food is only available to those who RSVP'd. We received many late registrations and tried our best to accommodate as many as possible. If you end up with extra tickets please turn them back when arriving at the banquet so we are able to include others.

Tournament format is standard to the USA Hockey Association rules for Sled and Warrior Hockey.

Special Hockey Teams will compete for the Top Sportsmanship Trophy. Each game teams will receive a 1-5 rating per coaches agreement.

We hope you have an amazing time! Our tournament coordinator Dan Hendrickson has a clear goal that the only tournament that is better than this years is next years!
