The Minnesota Special Hockey Board of Directors has an opening for the Treasurer position. This is a voting board member position and a three-year term. The position will be voted on at the annual meeting in August.
Minnesota Special Hockey relies on its volunteers and the Treasurer position is extremely important to the successful operation of Minnesota Special Hockey. The Treasurer ensures MSH completes all required documentation to maintain 501c3 status with the State of Minnesota, manages the association account receivable, accounts payable, and vendor contracts.
If you are interested in this position or would like more information, please contact Holly Tchida at holly.tchida@mnspecialhockey.org.
Toni Gillen, Director of the five Diversified Hockey programs in Minnesota, is one of three finalists for the NHL's Willie O'Ree Community Hero Award! This award is given to an individual who, through hockey, has positively impacted his or her community culture or society.
You can learn more about the award, watch a great video about Toni and her contributions to diversified hockey, and cast your vote daily for Toni, at: THE WILLIE O'REE COMMUNITY HERO AWARD | NHL.com
Voting ends on Sunday, May 25th at 11:59 p.m. Good luck Toni!
Please do not register with USA Hockey until the MSH Registration for the season is open at the end of August. USA Hockey is changing the fee structure for Diversified/Disabled Hockey.
