1. Register for the 2024-25 Season

October 15th was the registration deadline to ensure that all registration requirements were completed in order to participate in the first practice. While that deadline has
passed, registration remains open. Follow all the steps in the registration pages to complete your registration.

Player registration: https://www.mnspecialhockey.org/playerregistration
Volunteer registration: https://www.mnspecialhockey.org/coachesapply

NOT ON THE TEAM ROSTER?
If you completed your USA Hockey and MSH Registration, but do not see your name on your team roster, it could be because you have not completed the SafeSport
Requirement or Background Check (over 18 volunteers only need this). All players and volunteers must complete the SafeSport requirement if they were born in or before
2007.

Players and volunteers cannot participate until their name is on the Team Roster.

2. Important Tips for MSH Registration

Here are some helpful tips to ensure you complete the player and volunteer registration successfully and on time!

  • It is usually easier to complete registrations on a computer instead of a phone or tablet.
  • After you register for anything on the MSH site, you will receive an email receipt from “Minnesota Special Hockey” with the Registration Confirmation information.
  • You can look at your past registration and confirm registrations:
  • Log into SportsEngine on our website:www.mnspecialhockey.org
  • Click on the circle with your initials or picture in the upper right corner
  • Click on “My SportsEngine” under your name
  • If on a phone or tablet, click on the menu in the upper left corner
  • Click on “Registrations” (left side panel on a computer)
  • See your past registration list!

3. Virtual CEP Clinic for Disabled Hockey Coaches

USA Hockey is offering a virtual CEP clinic this December for coaches of disabled hockey. This is open to coaches of ANY disabled hockey discipline (Special, Warrior, etc.). The registration is now open. This clinic is not open to the general population of coaches and is only offered to disabled hockey coaches.
